Approximately half a mile, currently, and buildings pose no problem for them.

Fire-making is currently outside of their capabilities, admittedly.

I'm not certain. My last two roles were as a plucky school student at a private high school in Tokyo and... something in Germany.

I can't really give specifics for a current job, sorry. That being said, if it can be done, I have probably done it, so please don't hesitate to ask about anything.

That's quite alright, I hadn't meant to pry. I had simply been wondering if it would be useful to myself, which it seems at least a basic understanding might.

In my opinion, there isn't such thing as a useless skill: even if you cannot apply the knowledge today, surely someday down the line, that knowledge will have value.
